Standing Amitabha
For sentient beings, standing is a compassionate posture. When sentient beings are in the sea of suffering of life and death, they are in great danger and need to be rescued quickly, so they keep standing to make it easier to step over and help them immediately. They cannot sit on the lotus seat so comfortably.
At the same time, the hand stretched out in the standing posture can be stretched very long and powerful. This hand is a compassionate hand, which represents the power of a father; the other hand holding the lotus seat represents the motherly love and compassionate acceptance.
